Marriage preparation is offered in conjunction with the Archdiocesan guidelines.

Children’s Church

During the 9:00 am Masses on Sundays beginning mid-September through the school year, children ages pre-school through Grade 4 are invited to come to Children's Church

The children process from the Church building to the Seton Center meeting room where they hear the Sunday Readings from a Children's Lectionary, talk about what they have heard, and share their own prayers and concerns.

They return to Mass before the Gift Procession. Parents are welcome to attend with their children. Bring a friend!

The R.C.I.A. (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Have you ever considered becoming Catholic?

What is RCIA?

These classes are for those who wish to join the Catholic Church, to learn more about the Catholic faith, or simply want an update of the Catholic Christian faith.

You may have been baptized in another Christian faith, but you would like to join our community and become a member of the Catholic Church. In this case you would not need to be baptized again, but you would receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. This means that you would become a full member of the Catholic CHurch and so would be able to receive Holy Communion with us.

You may already be a Catholic, i.e., you have been baptized and have made your first Holy Communion, but you have never received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Church is asking that you receive this Sacrament before receiving the Sacrament of Marriage.

RCIA classes begin mid September at 7:00 pm every Tuesday thereafter until the Easter Vigil. These classes will provide a good update of our faith and you would enjoy the talks and companionship of those going through the process. Information is in our weekly bulletin and also on our Parish website. Please check this out for more information.

If you are interested or have any questions concerning RCIA feel free to contact Kathy Kleinhelter, our RCIA Coordinator. She can be reached at 502-741-6271.

  • Understanding the dynamics of child sexual abuse, including how children are groomed and how they may attempt to reveal their experience
  • How to take action in response to child sexual abuse, including obligation to report and caring for the abused child
  • Becoming familiar with new archdiocesan policies and Code of Conduct regarding work with children

Each workshop will last 2 1/2 hours. Participants will receive a copy of the new Sexual Abuse Policies and a resource manual. NO REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY. Sign-in sheets will be available at the workshops.
